Nightmare

Last nite Noreen woke everyone up at 4.30am, she was crying and crying, Lit couldnt pacify her and its frustrating as she cant relate to us of her problem. Remind me of the first few months when she goes out and then later at night she would cry like these non-stop. She finally slept at 7am.

Just thought of putting this here for reference.

Finally got the height chart from Midvalley RM25, nice stickers, special adhesive can be remove and stick for 30X for the noobs, and wont leave traces on your wall.

Running around

Saturday afternoon park time, there was another toddler boy there 1.5 yrs old, comparing him and Noreen, we can proudly say Noreen is more boy than him, she just cant stop, not for 5 second, she would fiddle with everything endlessly, climb anything she can climb.

Monkey goes to the zoo, hahaha, she really enjoy looking at the animals, especially when the tiger cubs were playing, she was really excited.

Weaning update

The 3rd night everything ran smoothly, when she was feeling kinda tired I would play music video where she will listen till she falls asleep on my arms.

Its been a week now Noreen is fully weaned, she feels cranky and insecure, she would stick very closely to lita. Even when we go shopping she would demand lita to carry her.

This 2 nights she would play on the bed till she falls asleep, no more music video hahaha. She wakes up about 2 times but can dozed off without much help, all on her own.

Weaning

We decide its time for Noreen to be weaned, we started on the 18th Nov, took us a lot of courage to take this route, with nen nen she still can wake up at least 3 times a night, imagine without nen nen how are we gonna pacify her???.

We decide to take her out the whole afternoon to play, hopefully it'll make her so exhausted that she would sleep better. We were also told to put ginger and chilli on Lita's nipple to make it taste yucky for her.

The ginger thing work, Noreen didnt like the taste, but she goes a bit cranky, we had to distract her with other things.

The first night, I will play music video for her, she would watch till she falls asleep on my lap, then about 2 hours later she woke up, luckily she was really exhausted from playing the whole day at times square, she was crawling all over the bed looking for Lita, but about a minute later she would just sleep off without us doing anything, 2 hours later again the same routine, then horror start around 4 - 5 am, she woke up good this time and cry so loud that it shake the building. We tried to pacify her, carry her, sing to her, play music and nothing works, she was crying and choking on her saliva, its really scarry, I think this is the first time I've seen Noreen cry so badly.

In the end we decide to be extra cruel, we off all the lights and just pretend to sleep, leaving the poor girl to cry and cry and cry until she was so tired that she doze off. Our heart was really broken. But then we;re happy this is the first full day she had no nen nen.

2nd day: same routine took noreen to times square, find an empty spot and just let her run wild till she falls asleep. Night time, I would play MTV till she doze off, then sure enuf her usual routine she wakes up about 2 hours later, this time we notice its easier for her to sleep if we put her in the prone position and pat on her back to pacify her, it works like a charm, she was back to sleep in a minute. She woke up a total of 3 times, accurate like a clock, but this 3 times we were able to pacify her without any issue.

Today is the 3rd day Noreen is without nen nen, tonight we're not sure what she has install for us, but today she really play hard, so will update soon.

She is much more cranky than usual, cant blame her, nen nen withdrawal syndrome.

Dumb Parents

Noreen was refusing food for the passed 3 days, we thought she's having teething problem so didnt bother much coz from the passed experienced. She had fever last night and we just gave her paracetomal we had on standby. When the fever didnt go away on the 3rd day, I sense something is not right and took her to clinic. Bummer doc told us she was having sore throat, poor girl, having dumb parents like us.

Doc gave her antibiotics and 3 days later she started eating again when her throat is better. Lesson of the day, go see doctor whenever fever comes.
