Bomba rescue

The day started like any other normal day, but this morning Lita told me that her left eye were twitching, she felt uneasy, I just brushed her off saying its due to her lack of sleep and try not to be superstitious then we totally forgot about it.

Around 11pm I was doing my aquarium maintenance, Lit came out from the room and asked me about the TV, the moment she shut the door behind her we both heard a click, first thing that came to my mind, "you gotta be kidding me", we tried to open the room door with our spare keys but failed. Now we realized she had lock the one way deadbolt, there're no keys for that, its a solid timber door. Gosh what am I supposed to do???

Lita kept begging Noreen to unlocked the door but I guess she just cant understand what we're saying, it must be she tried to open the door thinking that was a handle of some sort and accidently turned the dead bolt instead . The more we panic the more we scared Noreen, she started to cry uncontrollably and made Lita crying outside.

I was like what kinda daughter we have, 18 months and we need to call for help twice!!!, I went to the balcony and try to pry open the glass window, but theres a grill there with a padlock!, I was feeling panic and who you gonna call?

Dial 999, Bomba!!!, encik mari tolong!!!. Called my contractor friends to come and help, it was around 12pm by then, bomba arrived within 20 minutes, they check the door and said no point kicking it down as its a solid timber door. They're really considered, said if we pry open the door and door jam it'll cost us a lot of money to fix it back, they try to find another way in with minimum damage, they went to the balcony, pry open the glass window and cut the padlock, done deal 15 minutes job!!!

Bravo Bomba guys, super efficient, super considered, super heroes!!!. Its quite dangerous as one of the guys need to climb out to remove the glass window, cut the lock and climb from there into the room.

Noreen had cried to sleep by then, poor thing. Best part of the joke is when I told the bomba guys about her ordeal at Jusco, they said oh so shes the one last year who got lock in the car at jusco car park with a lady. Shy shy, what kinda monster baby we got!!!. Apparently Jusco security had inform bomba about that incident. One of the guys said better she become anak angkat anggota Bomba LOL.

Noreen couldnt sleep after that, had to buy her ice cream from 711, coax her to sleep with music while I'm typing this.

Anyway thank god nobody got hurt, I was really worried if she were to climb the chairs or play with the electrical wiring, what are we gonna do then? Its no fun feeling so helpless, it was a real wake up call, tomorrow we'll have to run through everything in the house, making sure we dont repeat such dumb things, get all spare keys ready, this is getting a little too much and a little too embarrasing. First time in my life I've to call for bomba rescue, but glad theres such rescue team existing.
